Motorola Droid X – Another Large Screened Smartphone

At the top of Motorola Droid X is an 8.0mp dual LED flash camera which is 720p HD video enabled and has a shutter speed of 1/1000 per second.

The photos and videos are of superior quality. The videos have a considerably better sound quality, and the photos are less grainy.


The software of this Motorola phone is not as impressive as its virtual keyboard on its huge display which features multi-touch support.

The Droid X assists you with your e-mails, streaming music, social updates, FM radio, news, and GPS turn-by-turn directions efficiently.

The device supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, accelerometer, light sensor, and 3G mobile hotspot tethering (at a monthly cost).

Battery and Memory

The 1570mAh battery of Droid X facilitates you to use it in three different modes – Motorola-Droid X backPerformance, Battery Saver, and Smart Mode. On standby the battery gives you company for around 3 days, but it all depends on your selection of mode too.

The phone sports 512MB RAM, 24GB storage, and a 16GB microSD card.


You can now interoperate and connect other devices like your home-theatre, Blu-ray player or DNLA ready TV with your Droid X as the phone features DNLA technology for the first time.

Motorola Droid X keeps up-to the reputation of its earlier models. Its large display is something that has grabbed most attention. You may not have a prominent MotoBlur on this Smartphone, but its software and UI is still better off helping you out in a refined way wherever required.
